Joe Langfeld
Joe Langfeld is the Executive Director of Human Life Alliance (HLA), a nonprofit, pro-life organization dedicated to creating a culture in which all human life, from the moment of fertilization to natural death, is respected and cherished. HLA’s comprehensive magazines have been read by more than 233.4 million people over the past 31 years, in all 50 U.S. states, 88 different countries, and all seven continents.
As a graduate of Saint John’s University with a BA in Government, Mr. Langfeld obtained a position on the staff of United States Congressman Gerry Sikorski. When Mr. Sikorski abandoned his pro-life position, Joe immediately resigned to pursue independent work in governmental affairs and public relations including non-profit funding strategies, PR campaigns, political strategy, and local government affairs initiatives. He is a past board chair of The Way of the Shepherd Montessori School, development committee consultant for the National Service Committee, and advisory board member of a startup IT security company, Protocol 46. Joe and his wife Caroline are representatives on their local parish council and proud parents of two active young adults. Mr. Langfeld served as vice president of sales for a leading national apparel sales firm before joining HLA staff in 2003.
Human Life Alliance Executive Summary
Human Life Alliance (HLA) has served the pro-life community around the world for more 43 years by pioneering educational initiatives, working with policy makers, assisting unwed mothers, reaching teens, and saving the lives of young women and their babies—especially young women between the ages 15 and 29 who are in the greatest danger of crisis pregnancies. HLA presents the truth about abortion and supports life-affirming alternatives to infanticide, euthanasia, assisted suicide and the so-called “safer-sex” myths to change hearts and save lives every day.
Over the years, HLA has established an extraordinary record of service—an unrelenting commitment and dedication to developing respect for all human life. HLA’s goal is to distribute its life-saving materials around the globe to make abortion not just illegal, but unthinkable. Since beginning printed educational campaigns in 1990, HLA has reached 233.4 million people in all 50 States, 88 different countries and on all seven continents.

-
